Joel is responsible for Western Region OEM sales and Marketing
Communications. He brings to the position more than nineteen years of
experience in computer sales, product marketing, and product management.
Joel previously served as Fujitsu Vice President of Product and Program
Management. He was responsible for Product Planning with all of Fujitsu's
Global OEMs. His responsibilities included Product Marketing support for OEM
and Distribution sales, PR, Analyst Relations, Trade Shows and Third Party
programs.
Prior to joining Fujitsu, Joel served as manager of Product Marketing for O.R.
Technology, a manufacturer of high-capacity floppy disk drives. In this
capacity, he was responsible for managing worldwide marketing of OEM/Disty
sales support, product requirements, public relations activity, trade shows and
advertising. Before that, Joel worked at Maxtor Corporation as senior product
marketing manager for Desktop Products. Joel's experience also includes serving
as worldwide product marketing manager for Enterprise Storage at Conner
Peripherals; senior product manager for Disk Arrays and Server Storage at NCR;
product manager for Raidion Disk Arrays at Micropolis Corporation; and manager
of Product Marketing for CORE International's storage products. He is also an
active volunteer at the American Cancer Society, where he has served as a
marketing communications committee member.
Joel received a Bachelor of Science in General Science from the University of
Maryland. He also received Certification as a Novell Network System Management
Instructor
