For Immediate Release
San Jose, CA, April 3, 2018—The 2018 Storage Visions Conference (SV 2018). will be held October 22-23, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, CA (www.storagevisions.com). The seventeenth annual Storage Visions Conference theme is “Thriving in the Data Apocalypse” and the conference will focus on digital storage to deal with the exploding demand to support applications such as IoT, AI, media and entertainment and big data. Speaker, Sponsorship and exhibit opportunities are now available.
According to Tom Coughlin, chair and organizer of the 2018 Storage Visions Conference, “The next decade will see a growing avalanche of data generation. IDC estimates that by 2025 we will generate more than 163 zettabytes of storage each year due to the growth of big data, the IoT and the growing amount and size of digital content. Furthermore, new safeguards on privacy will create new restrictions on the use of data. That's a lot of data and a lot more data management, and it will overwhelm our current capability to store and use this content. The 2018 Storage Visions Conference will show you how you can thrive in the coming Data Apocalypse, even while others are struggling to survive.”
This two-day conference and trade show brings together the vendors, end users, researchers and visionaries that will meet growing demand for digital storage to meet the needs of the coming data tsunami.
In addition to the sessions there will also be keynote talks during the conference and a sponsored reception in the evening of the first day. The preliminary agenda for the Storage Visions Conference is at https://storagevisions.com/2018Agenda.htm.
